The Calgary Flames are a professional ice hockey team part of the NHL. They are based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Founded in 1972 originally as the Atlanta Flames, they were moved to Calgary in 1980. Their home arena was first Stampede Corral but now they play at Pengrowth Saddledome (originally Olympic Saddledome). The Calgary Flames have won one Stanley Cup, three Conference Championships and six Division Championships.

The teams official logo is a red flaming ‘C’ with black and gold outlining. Their official colors are red, black, gold and white. Calgary Flames official mascot is Harvey the Hound.
