The Nashville Predators are the official NHL team of Nashville, Tennessee. They are part of the Central division in the Western Conference. They are a relatively new team in the league as professional hockey only introduced itself in Tennessee in 1962 in the form of the Dixie Flyer’s. After the introduction and demise of a number of teams over the years, Nashville finally was introduced to the Nashville Predators in 1998 and the team has made its city proud ever since.
