New York Islanders Personal Checks

The New York Islanders are based in Uniondale, New York. They are part of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference. The Islanders were formed in 1972 and are famous for winning four consecutive Stanley Cups in the early 80’s.

After their shining moment the team experienced some difficulties including management issues and funding problems which threatened the team’s financial future and ability to buy much needed new talent. Finally in 2000 the team found new owners that had enough funding to get the team back on its feet. After many trades and adjustment the Islanders finally managed to reach the playoffs again and have been standing strong ever since.

The New York Islanders play their home games in the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island.
